The Osaka City University Faculty of Medicine signed an agreement with its counterpart at the Chinese University of Hong Kong to establish an international gastrointestinal research center (SAMURAI GI Research Centre). The two universities, both leading in gastroenterology research in Asia, would like to see the new center become a prominent Asian clinical research laboratory in the field of gastroenterology. The official signing ceremony took place on 1 May.?
